Interaction Laboratory @ POSTECH

The Interaction Laboratory (former Haptics and Virtual Reality Laboratory) at POSTECH, directed by Prof. Seungmoon Choi, seeks to find and design easy, effective, and novel interaction methods between human users and a system of interest, e.g., computers, robots, cars, and electronic device, with emphasis on physical interaction where the human somatosensory system has the major role.

Brief History
2005

Prof. Seungmoon Choi joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at POSTECH as an assistant professor and began to run the Virtual Reality and Perceptive Media Laboratory with Prof. Gerard J. Kim.

2006

Prof. Choi took the laboratory over and renamed it to the Haptics and Virtual Reality Laboratory.

2020

The laboratory was renamed to the Interaction Laboratory, reflecting the substantially expanded research topics of the laboratory over the past 15 years.
