Development of a Wearable Tactile Korean Language System for the Visually and Hearing Impaired

Screenshot (58).png

We develop a flexible, wearable device that uses multiple types of tactile stimuli to convey information, particularly focusing on creating a tactile Korean language system. This system will be designed to be easy to learn and effective in conveying information to users with visual and auditory impairments. We

- Design and develop a flexible, wearable device capable of delivering multiple tactile stimuli.

- Incorporate a tactile Korean language code and learning method that enhances the ease of information transmission and learning.

- Conduct short-term user experiments to verify the basic design of the tactile Korean system.

- Analyze brain signals to understand the effects of multiple tactile codes and assess the long-term learning effects of the tactile Korean system.
