We recently presented three papers at two notable conferences on HCI.
At ISMAR 2024, we presented two papers: “Generating Haptic Motion Effects for General Scenes to Improve 4D Experiences” and “Expressing the Social Intent of Touch Initiator in Virtual Reality Using Multimodal Haptics.” The authors Sangyoon Han, Jaehyeok Ahn, and Heeyeon Kim recently graduated, leaving behind valuable research.
Additionally, at UIST 2024, we presented one paper titled “Modulating Heart Activity and Task Performance Using Haptic Heartbeat Feedback: A Study Across Four Body Placements.” Dajin Lee collaborated with Andreia Valente who was a visiting student in our lab and is now pursuing her PhD at the University of Auckland. Congratulations to all the authors on their impressive contributions!
