Dr. Yongjae Yoo will be working as an assistant professor at Department of Artificial Intelligence at Hanyang University ERICA Campus in Korea from September.
Dr. Hojin Lee has been working at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) since February.
Dr. Seungjae Oh will be working as an assistant professor at Department of Software Convergence at Kyung Hee University in Korea from September.
Chaeyong Park has won the 2021 Naver Ph.D. Fellowship Award. Naver selected Ph.D. students who have published outstanding papers as the first author in world top-tier conferences or journals or have excellent presentation results in the following recruitment fields under research by Naver. He received the award for his achievements in Human-Computer Interaction. A prize of 5,000,000 won will be awarded at the science building 2 on December 9th.

Chaeyong Park have won the Encouragement Award at the 1st Postech Excellence Competition. He received the award for his achievements in more than five papers and two or more patents. A plaque and a prize of 300,000 won were awarded at the department faculty meeting on the April 5th.

Prof. Ki-Uk Kim and Seungmoon Choi co-translated an introductory English book about haptics originally written by Lynette Jones. This book is for readers without specific technological backgrounds and made available by Gimmyoung.
We had a half-day lab outing to Jangsa Beach and Okgye Valley, taking adequate precautions against COVID-19. Though it was a rainy day, we had a very fun time together with delicious food. Thank you so much for Gihong and Chaeyong for organizing it!
We have renamed our laboratory from Haptics and Virtual Reality Laboratory to Interaction Laboratory, reflecting our expanded research areas over the past 15 years. A new homepage is also launched, which is what you are looking at.
